Chlorella Vege from Ostrovit is a dietary supplement, in powder form, based on vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals.

Chlorella is an organism that belongs to unicellular freshwater algae. We owe it all its wealth, minerals, vitamins, phytochemicals and macronutrients because it can also be a source of protein. Chlorella can be a vegan source of iron that can usually be found in meat and vitamin B12, which should be supplemented by people following a vegan diet. It is documented that people who consumed microalgae had higher levels of vitamin B12 than vegans who gave them up in their diet. Chlorella is an ideal source of chlorophyll, which in its composition contains approximately 5%, which is a really high result among other plants, not only aquatic, but also terrestrial. Why is chlorella called a superfood? The main reason is the completeness of the components and the pleiotropic (multidirectional) action. It provides us with the necessary vitamins, namely vitamins A, C, E and B. It is worth adding that it contains up to 19 essential amino acids and the protein content is approximately 60%!! In addition to one of the most important minerals, which is iron, Chlorella also contains folic acid, lutein or beta-carotene, which is a provitamin of vitamin A.
